Human Capital Composition and Main Sources of Human Capital Formation

Abstract

The article examines the different approaches to describing the internal structure of human capital, as well as the main sources of human capital formation. The author study the wide range of literature related to the basic components of human capital, sources of human capital formation in order to identify the common aspects, and generalize the ideas. The author propose that four main components — abilities, knowledge, skills and personality constitutes the human capital.
