Chronic hyperglycemia in diabetes is accompanied by damage, dysfunction and insufficiency of various organs, especially the eyes, kidneys, nerves, heart and blood vessels. predominant damage to the auditory system in DM, explaining this by the lower resistance of the organ of Corti to hypoxia.
