Theallergen-specific diagnosis of allergic diseases is aimed at establishing the causal significance of allergens in the occurrence of allergic diseases, which is of great importance for the development of effective therapeutic and preventive programs for children suffering from allergic diseases. In recent years, the ability to diagnose allergic diseases has expanded due to the standardization of most inhaled allergens. The specific diagnosis is based on the evaluation of an allergic history, the results of skin tests for allergies, the use of tests for in vitro allergy diagnosis, and provocative tests.
