This review explores the impact of benign neoplasms on auditory function in otolaryngology. These tumors can lead to hearing loss, tinnitus, vertigo, and facial nerve palsy. Various studies have reported the prevalence of these symptoms in patients with different types of tumors. Radiological imaging, particularly magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), plays a crucial role in the diagnosis and management of these tumors. Surgical resection is the primary treatment option, but other approaches such as radiation therapy and observation may be suitable in certain cases. The goal is to preserve or restore auditory function while minimizing the impact on the patient's quality of life. Further research is needed to understand the underlying mechanisms and develop more effective treatment strategies.
