Abstract

Tuberculosis continues to be one of the most common infections in the world and poses a huge threat to public health. The disease is still a complex socio-economic, medical and biological problem. In recent years, tuberculosis has become characterized by a high tendency to progression, rapid development of cavities, and polyresistance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MBT) to anti-tuberculosis drugs.
