Methodology of Teaching the Russian Language

The article deals with the current issues of teaching Russian as a mother tongue in school education. Special attention is paid to the role of integrated classes of Russian language and literature in working with visual and expressive tools. Combining the didactic possibilities of two subjects in order to develop language competence helps to enrich students' active vocabulary, develop thinking and speaking skills. Such methods and theoretical information are presented in the article.
