Abstract

In the article, the psycholinguistic importance of the development of written speech in the mother tongue of students of general secondary schools in improving the written speech competence of future foreign language teachers in English is substantiated. Clarifying the psycholinguistic factors of improving written speech in a foreign language based on the Uzbek national mentality was one of the important tasks of our research. In particular, the application of interactive methods based on the sociocultural theory of language acquisition for the development of writing skills in native language is an important foundation for the improvement of written speech in a foreign language.
