This article is devoted to the problems of working on character traits of heroes in connection with the analysis of a work of art in special literature classes of creativity and specialized schools. In the article, the analysis of the work as a creative process, the complex aspects of students' activity, the issue of the proper organization of the analysis process is highlighted.
