Over the past few decades, there has been a significant shift in the field of language teaching and learning, with the introduction of new technologies and methodologies that allow a more comprehensive approach to language education. One such technology is corpus linguistics, which has been gaining popularity in language research and teaching since the 1990s. Corpus linguistics involves the analysis of large data sets of language usage to identify patterns and trends in language, and it has been increasingly applied in language teaching and learning contexts.
