Abstract

The article reveals the features of the transformation of the hidden semantics of English colloquial words and expressions with a reduplicated form and a reverse order of letters. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of new trends in the colloquial layer of the language, taking into account grammatical, etymological and structural features.
