This article explores the role of cultural context in the study of the Russian language for foreigners. Understanding cultural heritage helps to comprehend the history and cultural peculiarities of the country, as well as establish better relationships with Russian people. Overall, understanding cultural context is a key factor for successful learning of the Russian language and integration into Russian culture.
