This article shows that difference between PPP and ESA. In recent years, a purely "structural" approach to language teaching produces students who, despite having the ability to produce structurally correct language, are generally unable to use and control their use of the language. As you know, grammar plays a very important role in learning a foreign language. Without grammar, learners cannot reproduce speech correctly or translate their thoughts so that listeners understand what the speaker means. Most of the learners found the grammar lessons boring because traditional teaching methods were pasted on the blackboard and students could not be asked to comment after the teacher's presentation.
