This article is devoted to the linguistic and cultural analysis of phraseology in English that means the emotional state of a person. The article envisages and analyzes the expression of phraseology expressing emotional state with the help of human body parts. In addition, the article examines the problems and shortcomings encountered in the linguistic and cultural analysis of phraseologisms.
