Abstract

It must be noted that interrelation of lyrics, tune and rhythm has always been one of the basic principles of Uzbek national music. There have been formed a few distinctive schools of dastan singers and ritual songs in Uzbekistan. And one can find out the names of several outstanding musicians of the medieval Uzbekistan in the article.
