Effects of Gossitan and Getasan on Lipid Peroxidation and Antioxidant Enzyme Activity in Rat Liver Homogenate in Toxic Hepatitis

In toxic hepatitis caused by carbon tetrachloride (CCl4), the amount of malondialdehyde (MDA) in the liver homogenate of quercetin, gossitan and getasan and the activity of antioxidant enzymes (superoxide dismutase-SOD, catalase, glutathione peroxide GPx) were determined. SOD activity by Matyushin method. Catalase activity was determined by the Karolyuk method.
