Abstract

This paper discussed the application of AI in curriculum implementation of science education in tertiary institutions. Secondary data were used in the paper presentation. The data were collected from online publications and print materials. The paper discovered that deployment of AI in tertiary institutions can aid effective delivering of lectures on science education programme, sets exam questions and conduct examinations on science education programme, aids research development on science education programme, aid engagement learning and collaboration learning in science education programme, assist lecturers to adopt different varieties of lecturing methods to teach science education programme, aid online teaching and learning and assist lecturers to compile and compute students on science education programme. Based on this discovery, the paper recommended increment in the funding of tertiary institutions for the development of artificial intelligence in all tertiary institutions across the country.
