This article discusses the etiology, pathogenesis and clinical features of neurological disorders in patients with chronic kidney disease. It is emphasized that at the initial stages, changes in the central nervous system are manifested by cognitive dysfunctions, such as impaired attention, memory, psychomotor functions, and in chronic kidney disease, changes in cerebral vessels occur 10 times more often than in patients without renal pathology.
