Abstract

This article is devoted to a deep lexical analysis of the meaning of the word "person" in Russian and English. The object of this study is a fragment of the main vocabulary of the language, which includes lexical and phraseological language units, combined on the basis of the commonality of the meaning they express, i.e. on a semantic basis.
