Hepatitis A is an acute liver disease caused by the hepatitis A virus (HAV). It is prevalent in many parts of the world, including Central Asian regions. This review article aims to analyze the prevalence of hepatitis A in Central Asia, its risk factors, and the measures taken to control the disease.
