Socio-Economic Aspects of Poverty Reduction in Uzbekistan

Abstract

The year 2020 is special for Uzbekistan not only because of the pandemic, but also because for the first time in the country's history, the concept of poverty was recognized at the level of the head of state, and this direction became the main agenda of the socio-economic policy. The recognition of the problem should be evaluated as an expression of the strong political will of the head of Uzbekistan and the correct beginning of its targeted solution.
